I want to share with you this little trick I learnt, it saved me a lot of time and the ribbons are perfect in shape.  This technique is very helpful to make mini ribbons.  You can use them for any sort of decorations and accessories, they are just too cute for anything!

Here's the tutorial!

Pink Sweetheart Doll House [Part 3]

| On
Friday 23 November 2012
Finally finished the house! I love the windows and it's overhangs.
Internal spaces, I dont like the wooden flooring right in front of the foor.
Had fun making these, I feel like a gardener. ^_^
Exterior shot.
Very smart to use beads to make them look like fruit.
So much effort to make these little cups!
These cups are very very small, it was difficult to glue the handle on.
I really like the print, but making the chair and sofa was so time consuming and tiring.
These are the parts for the chair.
I always wanted a white piano.
The shelf is not finished, still a lot of decorations to make ( plates, cups and books)
Not a good flash shot, I love the sofa and the chair. It was really difficult to make these because you have to wrap it so tight and still allow the stuffing inside to puff up.

More updates soon! Here are Part 1 and 2 is you have missed it.

Happy crafting,

Pink Sweetheart Doll House [Part 2]

Last post I introduced this doll house kit, so now let's get started! I had a thought about making the furniture first but then I think it' better to have the whole house up first and then make the furniture, that way I can easily place them on to the house without having them randomly sitting on my table waiting to be placed.  I will be making Bag A which includes the walls, roof and the exterior decoration.

The walls are very simple, basically just cut both of the sides and glue them.
Glue stick does the best job because it is not sticky and watery like PVA and craft glue. It made the surface look very smooth.
 Finished all the walls!
Pieces for the doors and, windows, and posts.
I love the little door hinges!
Thought glueing them on first would help me screw the bolts later.
It actually worked!!! ^v^ The door can swing~
Had a tough time with the windows, all the pieces look the same size, had to group them... aiii
Took me so long to place them together.
Really happy with the results, and really impressed with the kit that only one was missing, I can easily make one with balsa wood.
They look pretty on the walls.
 Assembled the ground floor.
 Trailing out the second floor.
Not glued yet, but this is an overall image of the house. Looks good!

I will go continue making the house now, hopefully I can finish the structure by today and make the furniture tomorrow!

Happy crafting,

Pink Sweetheart Doll House [Part 1]

Yay~ I am finally able to make the doll house kit I bought last Christmas, it has been sitting in my storage room for so long. It is a very big project, and I am very excited to make it! It even has a music box and lights ( I hope I will assemble it correctly >_<)!

This is the box, out of all the doll house kits I chose this one, I just love the pink-ness of this design.
The box contains all these bags, each of the bags were labeled and well packaged.
Let's open this one first!
Inside contained a large sheet containing all the parts and pieces, each of the pieces has a code and has its own dimension, scale and colour labeled. REALLY impressed!
 woala~ fancy sheets to cut!
The booklet is very very detailed, 20 pages long... it's going to be a very long journey.
So much stuff to make I don't know where to start =_=.. The bed looks really pretty!
All the bags are labeled so you know where to find the pieces, and the instruction are followed by each bags. The song in the music box is the famous theme song from the movie Laputa : Castle in the Sky.
I guess these are the decoration and furniture pieces.
Love these toilet thingys. The bubbles are so cute.
These are the basic structure for the house. The dark brown sheet is the base for the house, not very big in my opinion.
The kit contains EVERYTHING! O_O Glue, sandpaper and the seller even gave me free tweezer and screwer!
So this is everything, I am very excited about this and very very happy with my purchase.

If you ever go to China, watch out for these amazing doll house kits! I got mine for 160 RMB which is around $30 NZ dollars or $27 US, it's very cheap and it's a very detailed doll house. I will post photos of my working process as I work through them.

Here is the link for Part 2.

Christmas is not even here and I am already looking forward to Valentine's next year. I learnt this from a Chinese Youtube video, the channel has a lot of cute crafts and it is one of my favourite place to go. Here is the first and the second part. Even though some of you might not be able to understand it but I am sure it is very easy to see the process. I absolutely adore these cuties, I made the blue one first and it took me 5 hours, then the pink one only took me 3 hours. I was very tired after making them but it's all worth it!

 teh teh teh... ♥ !! (▰˘◡˘▰)

ahhh, cute!

awwwww sooo romantic hahaha, I can imagine this starry night scene.  Their backs are just as cute as the front, especially those little tails.ヾ(●⌒∇⌒●)ノ (wiggle wiggle~)

More cute crafts coming soon! I am already sketching some ideas for Christmas.

Cute Moulds

| On
Tuesday 13 November 2012
I went to Daiso a few days ago and bought these cute moulds!! I missed the rabbit one before so this time I have to grab it! I wish the bear mould is back in stock as well.

I saw this really really cute fabric at a hobby store, it was very expensive but I cannot resist cute stuff >_<, especially when they have these cute desserts print on them. It was $15 NZ per meter, but I had to buy it!

These are the original packaging, it is packed very well and the moulds stayed in shape. Every time I go to Daiso I would rush to the cooking/ baking section to check out if they have any new stocks~ They are very useful and a big part of my craft making.

I am going to use them as resin moulds on the hearts, too bad they are not for chocolate :D. All my moulds are use for crafts even though I really want to make cute food with them as well.

These rabbits are a bit big for sweets deco in my opinion, I really want to try soap making and use these as moulds. I have watched tutorials, the processes are simple and really straight forward but I am just curious about the chemical- Lye that is used to make them. Hopefully one day I would have a chance to   get it and make some soaps and cute crafts!

Happy Crafting!
